Theatrical amaran:In contrast to Brother and Bloody Beggar, Theatrical Amara was theatrically released globally on October 31, 2024, in theaters on Diwali. Following changes to graphic visuals, muting of language, and a correction of an incorrect map displayed during the film, the Central Board of Film Certification awarded the movie a UA certification.In addition to the original Tamil language, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada dubbed versions are also planned for release.At first, it was said that the movie will be released on August 15, which is Independence Day.It was moved back to its present date after being rumored to have been rescheduled to September 27.On October 24, 2024, a special screening took place in New Delhi for for the army officials and their family members.

The first schedule for principal photography was set for May 5, 2023, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.[30] For security and G20 summit reasons, the firing was stopped. By May 22, filming had resumed.In late May, Sivakarthikeyan made his way back to Chennai.[33] Filming resumed on June 7 following a brief pause. On July 15, filming was suspended. The timetable, which ran for 75 working days, ended on August 27.[37] The second plan started on October 21 at a Chennai movie theater to shoot a song scene with Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.[38] Production shifted to Pondicherry on November 9.
